From 'combat to cultivation', the Veterans Agricultural Cooperative aides in the development of Veteran-owned self-sufficient, sustainable-farming businesses, through employment/career opportunities to active duty service members, veterans, and their families. We support veterans, their dependents, and the communities in which they live, by providing them with access to healthy, high-quality, safe and affordable food. We also provide hands-on training, educational opportunities, outreach and technical assistance through the development of food systems that help people grow, process, market and distribute food in a sustainable manner. Currently the VAC is based at 21 Acres Farm in Woodinville, Washington and is looking to expand the program to new properties in the state of Washington. ![]() |
